Saint Bridget School is now part of the National School Lunch Program. We offer breakfast, lunch, and after-school snack for those that attend extended day.
To order lunch, you must create an account online using your Family Portal account. Orders can be placed on a monthly basis. For example, You will need to log in to your Family Portal account and place the order for the month. Lunch orders are due by the set deadline each month. No Exceptions (see below).
Typically there are extra portions available for children that may forget their lunch from time to time. If this happens, please have your child see their teacher to ensure your child gets on the list for lunch that day. You will get a charge for that lunch.
There is no reimbursement for the days your child is absent.
Please contact Mrs. Walsh with any questions regarding your lunch account including log-in issues.
It is necessary to have orders in by the deadline to ensure there is enough time for running reports and purchasing of the correct amount of food prior to the start of the month. Once ordering is closed, we cannot reopen the calendar as this can cause discrepancies in the total amount of food purchased and payment to our vendors.
Dear Saint Bridget School Families,
We wanted to share some exciting news with you regarding the school meal program. When we return from Christmas Break in January, we will begin offering a Grab and Go Breakfast that the students will be able to eat in their classrooms. Breakfast will be $2.00, and will include a selection of whole grains, 1% white or fat free flavored milk, juice, dairy items (yogurt parfaits, cheese, eggs), and a selection of fresh fruit. We are introducing breakfast to compliment our school lunch and our after-school snack programs.
The Covid-19 pandemic has hit many of our families hard. In an effort to remediate some of the financial burden on our families, Saint Bridget School applied to be involved in the National School Lunch Program. This program provides low-cost or free lunches to 29.4 million children across America every day. Eligible students receive free or reduced-price meals based on their income.
Please carefully read the attached forms with the income guidelines, and if you qualify please return the included documentation to the school in paper form or electronically by December 15th.
